Faith in the Incarnate Son of God –
“Everyone who believes that Jesus is the Christ is born of God, and everyone who loves the father loves his child as well. This is how we know that we love the children of God: by loving God and carrying out his commands. In fact, this is love for God: to keep his commands. And his commands are not burdensome, for everyone born of God overcomes the world. This is the victory that has overcome the world, even our faith. Who is it that overcomes the world? Only the one who believes that Jesus is the Son of God ... And this is the testimony: God has given us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. Whoever has the Son has life; whoever does not have the Son of God does not have life.” 1 John 5:1-5, 11-12 – More Commentary @ http://biblehub.com/niv/1_john/5.htm And Matthew Henry Commentary @ http://biblehub.com/commentaries/1_john/5-1.htm Plus in Commentaries and Information @ http://biblehub.com/commentaries/1_john/5-1.htm
Jesus Christ is
Father God’s Holy Son,
Currently Functioning
as the Spiritual Leader
of Our World –
The word of God says this: “…Christ has been raised from the dead, the firstfruits of those who have fallen asleep. For since death came through a man, the resurrection of the dead also came through a man. For just as in Adam all die, so also in Christ, all will be made alive. But each in his own order: Christ, the firstfruits; then when Christ comes, those who belong to him. Then comes the end, when he hands over the kingdom to God the Father when he has brought to an end all rule and all authority and power. For he [Christ] must reign until he has put all his enemies under his feet. The last enemy to be eliminated is death...” Read 1 Corinthians 15:20-28 – More Commentary @ http://biblehub.com/net/1_corinthians/15.htm Plus in Commentaries and Information @ http://biblehub.com/commentaries/1_corinthians/15-12.htm
